The herbs in Fern-Restore have direct and indirect effects on uterine, smooth muscle tissue. Those that act directly prevent and relieve spasm and generally help maintain normal function. Those acting indirectly work by supporting the function of the liver, resulting in better metabolic waste removal. This is important to allow tissues, including those of the uterus, to function normally. Additionally, increased function of the liver allows for an increase in estrogen degradation, reducing the deleterious effects of excessive unopposed estrogens on the uterus. Fem-Restore also enhances lymphatic drainage, which is believed by practitioners of natural medicine to help maintain a healthy uterus.

Goldenseal rhizome (Hydrastis canadensis), Corydalis root (Corydalis yanhusuo), Butterbur root, (Petasites hybridus), Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale), Lobelia herb/seed (Lobelia inflata)

Do not use during pregnancy or lactation. Patients with liver disease should not take Fem-Restore. If any symptoms of jaundice occur (e.g., unexplained fatigue, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, dark urine, pale stools, yellow eyes or skin) while taking the formula, discontinue use immediately and see a physician.*
