The Deluxe offers built-in interval release of essential oil: The interval timer alternately diffuses for 7 minutes and turns off for 23 minutes. Over time our nervous systems adapt to continuous scent causing awareness of the fragrance to be lost. The cyclic administration of this diffuser heightens experience of the aroma and strengthens the biological effect. Otherwise the Deluxe is the same as the Optima described below.
